Gujarat Manav Garima Yojana 2022

Vijay Rupani, the chief minister of Gujarat has launched Manav Garima Yojana to financially support scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, OBC, and Backward classes people living in the state. Under this scheme entrepreneurship, the residents coming in the mentioned category will get promoted to generate adequate income and self-employment. 

The government also plans to provide extra tools/equipment to the people belonging to socially backward classes so that they can easily commence local businesses. These tools will be provided to vegetable sellers, carpenters, and persons involved in planting.

The residents of these categories will also get financial, starting from Rs 4000 to the eligible beneficiaries under Gujarat Manav Garima Yojana. Post the successful deployment of this scheme, the unemployment rate of the state is expected to go down.
